ON TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE In his career as an actor, M.G. Kelly appeared three times on "Too Close For Comfort."   During the taping of this particular episode, the studio audience was filled with network executives.  Ted Knight invited them to the show because he loved the way this scene was written.  Plus, he really wanted to take a jab at the networks.  M.G. was especially proud of this scene because he had all the punch lines, while Ted Knight played the straight man.
